Silver cup, London 1742-43

Description:

George II period cup. A cup with a classic vase with two volute sockets with opposing curls and c, on the vase two decorative engraved orders; the same motifs are present in the lid which ends with a pine cone socket. Present three marks that allow to recognize the London origin and the dating, “crowned leopard’s head”, “lion passant” and a “g within a shield”.
